Too Late for an Annulment?

Aggie Hoffman

I was in a relationship & fell in love with my boyfriend spring of ’07. Come summertime, he pressured me into marrying him because otherwise he would have to leave the country soon, as he was an immigrant. Because I loved him, we eloped. 8 months later I found out he had no intentions on being faithful and carried on several other relationships, one being with my best friend who eventually told me everything. I have not spoken to, or seen him for over a year now but we’re still “legally married”. I want out! I haven’t been able to afford to get this annulled and I know he wouldn’t pay for anything. What he did was wrong. Is it too late to get an annulment under these circumstances? What are my options?
